Diana & Adam In Love

On Saturday, May 17, 2014, The RiverRoom hosted a wedding reception for Mrs. Diana & Adam Leath! Diana & Adam's love for each other and life is obvious and we just loved getting to know these two sweet souls! The couple wed at Kenan Chapel at Landfall Country Club at 4:00pm and headed downtown to The RiverRoom for an evening reception.

Diana & Adam chose a navy, aqua & coral nautical cocktail-style reception. L&L Tent & Party Rentals provided the linens, while Diana brought in the printed table runners and overlays. The table centerpieces were simple with beach sand, shells and a candle in the middle. The room was set with 9 round tables (seating for 63) and 8 bistro tables placed around the room. Floral arrangements in a glass vase with a navy anchor were placed on each bistro table with a burlap sash.

The bar area was set up with a couple of the round tables and their guest book tables. Each guests was given a blank wine charm to put on their wine glass. This is perfect for an event where a drink gets set down every minute! Guests were also give little candied pecan favors as a way of saying "thanks for coming".

DJ Ashley of DJ Professionals & Video did a great job providing energetic and upbeat DJ/MC service for the evening. Diana & Adam had their first dance as husband and wife to "Stuck on You" by Lionel Richie. Then, Adam danced with his mom to "My Wish", followed by a special dance with Diana & her father to "Higher Love" by John Mellencamp.

Guests enjoyed appetizers and a buffet from Whole Foods, which happens to be where Diana works. As soon as she got engaged, she knew Whole Foods would be able to help with a lot of her wedding planning! They not only prepared all of her favorite dishes to eat but they also designed the beautiful cake. I love the coral and sea shell detail on the cake! Whole Foods also designed the floral hydrangea centerpieces and bridal bouquet!

A photographer friend was hired to shoot the big day for Diana & Adam. Emily Sexton Photography did a great job and we can't wait to see her photos! The Audio Visual People provided the hanging Edison lights and waterfall effect light. Diana requested that some of her favorite sweet treats were made by a dear family member, including these incredibly delicious peanut butter cookies! And of course, the desserts were nautical themed too!
Diana & Adam had a blast at their wedding reception! Diana's laugh is infectious and it's obvious why she captured Adam's heart! We had a blast getting to know you two and being a part of your special day! Congratulations!!
