The room was set up with 14 round tables and a sweetheart table. Each table was topped with an orange silk floral arrangement in a hand painted vase atop an old music record. A silver sharpie was on each table so guests could write a special note on the record for the newlyweds! One of the guests party favors were paper wrapped Hershey kisses in a mason jar on each table. They also placed a color coordinating floral arrangement in each window seal overlooking the River.
The cake was one of the coolest things about this wedding! Creative Cake Design by Tammy Hodge designed an orange and lime green topsy turvy cake with Wall-E and Eve as the unique cake topper. There's a surprising Superman addition to the cake as well!
Amy McConnell with 1 of 13 Photography was on site during the wedding ceremony and reception to capture all of the special moments and more! We love working with Amy! She's not only talented but she's super fun and creative! There were plenty of cute things to shoot, including this mason jar drink station! I loved their guestbook table too! You can't go wrong with an old suitcase as a card box!
After the ceremony, guests came inside the room to enjoy appetizers from Gourmet Catering. Angie of The Lunchbox made a cheese and veggie platter for cocktail hour with a full buffet for dinner!
Toasts and the cake cutting were after dinner right before we kicked off open dancing with DJ Professionals! The night turned into a full on dance party and we ended with Donna Summers "Journey to the Center of Your Heart"! Congratulations Lauren & Josh!! We had a great time celebrating your big day with you!!
