Alyssa & Michael Marry in May

We celebrated the marriage of Alyssa and Michael on May 2, 2014 at The RiverRoom. The couple had their ceremony and reception here and invited 50 of their family and friends. Although the weather was questionable for rain during the day, the rain held off for their deck ceremony and it was perfect! The riverfront deck was set up with an arbor draped with fabric against the brick wall and seating set for 50 guests.

Following the ceremony was the reception where the room was adorned in white and burlap with hints of orange and yellow flowers. The natural, rustic look was simply beautiful, especially with our exposed brick walls! The bride created her own floral centerpieces and handmade a lot of the decorations. The Audio Visual People provided the Edison lights hanging from the ceiling.

The guest book was an old "Schramm" car grill that guests wrote sweet messages on heart-shaped cork paper to hang on the grill. It was super cute! (That's their new last name too!) Then, they used one of The RiverRoom's glass tables as the gift table with a bird cage card box and a couple prints. Burlap toppers and runners were used throughout the room and a great way to add some texture to white linenes! We love their choice of green frames with pictures of the two added (with Command hooks only future event holders haha)  to one of the walls.

Cupcakes were provided by Coastal Cupcakes. Pine Valley Market provided the appetizers for cocktail hour and the yummy dinner buffet!

Alyssa & Michael enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife, followed by toasts given by dear friends and their maid of honor shown here. They are such a sweet couple!

Emerald Photography was hired to shoot the big day! We love this shot they captured at sunset on our deck! Congratulations Alyssa & Michael! We hope you've been enjoying married life! Thanks for choosing The RiverRoom as your preferred wedding venue!
