The Night Before the BIG Day-Kelley & Brad's rehearsal dinner!

On Thursday, May 1st, 2014, The RiverRoom hosted a rehearsal dinner for Kelley and Brad. Brad's mom, Kay, did an excellent job setting up the room for the dinner. Kay used to own a rental company so had a lot of great pieces to use for the dinner, included the awesome linens. The lanterns were part of Kay's collection as well! Bon Appetit was the caterer and provided staff as well! Bon Appetit is one of our favorite caterers and we're looking forward to them catering the upcoming Fake Wedding on June 1st too!





Kelley and Brad have been living in China in recent years so it was important to them to incorporate some of their new traditions. I love these Chinese elephants for the cake table. Bon Appetit provided Cheerwine floats after dinner to go along with the other desserts! They also brought in a popcorn "to go" bar with unique flavors from Popcorn Fanatic located in Winston Salem, NC.







We had a remarkable sunset this evening along the Cape Fear River in Downtown Wilmington. As guests traveled back to their accommodations, they dreamed of the wedding day and

    River room was the perfect venue for our intimate evening event. Working with Melissa and her staff was a breeze and things were handles before we even asked for them. I would recommend Bon Apetit and the River Room, to anyone looking for the perfect event combination in Wilmington.
