Candice & Troy Wed at The RiverRoom on May 3, 2014! ~ RSVP: The RiverRoom Blog

On Saturday, May 3, 2014, Candice & Troy tied the knot on The RiverRoom's deck with the reception inside. As most of you know, Melissa, our event manager, offers wedding coordination for an additional fee. Melissa was hired as Candice & Troy's "Month-Of Coordinator" through Knot Too Shabby Events. Melissa was on site to set up, break down and manage their perfect day!

Candice & Troy chose a black and white color scheme with pops of green! Bella Florals provided the gorgeous flower arrangements and bridal bouquets. There was a mixture of small and large arrangements. I loved these tall arrangements with white orchids! Etc. Party Rentals provided the linens, along with more tables and chairs. The textured black linens are always a favorite and Melissa learned a new diamond-shaped napkin fold to complete this tablescape!

The room was set up with seating for 84 (12 tables of 7) and the deck ceremony was set with seating for 56 on the top and standing room for the rest with bistros on the bottom.

Creative Cake Design by Tammy Hodge made the gorgeous ruffled white wedding cake! Middle of the Island was the caterer and provided the food for cocktail hour and dinner! They also provided servers and a bartender. Candice & Troy brought in their own beer and wine and gave away drink koozies as party favors!

Keli Brown of Ave Norturna Photography traveled from Charlotte to shoot their big day! Keli was super fun to work with and took some amazing shots throughout the wedding. DJ Professionals & Video was hired to provide DJ/MC service and Keli's photos show how much fun people had dancing! The first dance was the classic, "At Last" by Etta James! The Audio Visual People provided the Edison lights hanging from the ceiling too!

To end the night, Candice and Troy left in style with a sparkler send off and VIP Limo took them away safely back to the hotel for the night! Congratulations to Candice & Troy! We had such a blast getting to know you both and then partyin' down with you on your wedding night! Thanks for having us!
