Tristen and Zach had a lovely ceremony inside up against the far white wall. Decorating for the ceremony began with pipe and drape rented from ETC Party Rentals. Family came in early to decorate, adding white lighting behind the drapes, which created a nice glowing effect to the backdrop. Gold stars were hung from the top of the white drapes to add an accent to the white and royal purple linens. 150 feet of Edison lights were hung by family to add additional lighting and ambiance for the event.
Tristen and Zach stayed hidden from each other until it was time for Tristen to walk down the aisle. In front of the bride walked two adorable flower girls who dropped pink and silver shimmery paper confetti as an alternative to petals.
During the ceremony Tristen, Zach, and Millie joined together for a special moment where they painted a canvas together to signify the union of their new family. They each poured a different color of paint over stickers on the canvas. The date of their wedding will appear on the canvas once the paint dries and the stickers are peeled off.
After the ceremony the room was flipped to bring out tables and chairs for guests. Tables had royal purple linens, a layered gold centerpiece, and flowers. The tables were set by Middle of the Island with plates, napkins, silverware, and glasses.
After pictures and the newlyweds first dance it was time for dinner. A feast, such as one you might find on Thanksgiving, was served. Guests enjoyed helping themselves to the buffet which included turkey, roast beef, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, mac & cheese, sweet potato crunch, salad, and rolls!
DJ Wilmington kept people on their feet all night long! A mix of music was played to cater to the bride and groom's musical taste.
