On Wednesday, December 4, 2013, Reading Day Eve, The RiverRoom hosted a party for UNCW International Students. Every year, hundreds of international students have the opportunity to study university in our amazing city. Tonight, we celebrated with 120 of them!
The party had an American theme and everyone dressed in their favorite American attire! The room was decorated with lots of red, white and blue and American flags! The Audio Visual People provided hanging Edison lights that really topped off the party!
They hired a photo booth from Crystal Coast Photo Booth. They reserved the photo booth for 3 hours and provided their own props. The students really enjoyed taking pictures with their friends and classmates. Sweet N' Savory provided some favorite American foods, such as wings, BBQ pork, cole slaw and a widespread of different vegetables and dips.
As the party wrapped up around 10:00pm, the students hit the after party at one of Wilmington's hippest downtown night spots - The Liquid Room. We wish you all safe travels as you journey home! Come see us again sometime!!
