Stephanie and Michael's rehearsal dinner was beautifully decorated by Michael's family. The King family really put a lot of thought into the decorations. The simply southern theme went beyond just the centerpieces and food, there were decorations in the entry ways, on the doors, and even on the windowsills! The layout of the room included both round tables and rectangular tables for guests, cocktail tables by the bar, a glass table for decorations, and a cake table to display the colorful and detailed Groom's cake.
White linens with burlap table runners included dainty centerpieces decorated with candles, lanterns, and hydrangea flower arrangements. The table linens and centerpieces were all brought in by the King family. They used large mason jars for the baby's breath and pink hydrangeas and floating candles in the centerpieces and on the windowsills. Extra chairs for the guests brought in through L & L Tent and Party Rentals
The Groom's cake had something for everyone with a chocolate top tier and strawberry bottom tier, as well as vanilla cupcakes topped with blue icing and fish candy, and spice cupcakes topped with brown icing and cattails. The duck hunting cake was fun and delicious!
Next to the Groom's cake was photo frames which included pictures of Stephanie and Michael during their engagement and a print which included important dates throughout their relationship.
Another beautifully decorated table was located in the buffet area, dinner was catered by Middle Of The Island Catering whose menu featured food with a southern flair.
As the sun set on the Cape Fear River the decorations in front of the windows looked stunning. All the candles throughout the room really added to the romantic ambiance and gave the room a homey feel. Stephanie and Michael will be getting married tomorrow at the Brooklyn Arts Center
