"Allez" Dans L'amour: Lara & Arthur Tesh 1.2.16

"Allez" Dans L'amour translates to Go In Love
Allez is a fencing term meaning to go

Lara and Arthur began their wedding day with a first look inside The RiverRoom surrounded by only their closest friends and family before taking family photos.

Their ceremony was set up against the far white wall with a backdrop of lights, white curtains, and pink curtains. During the ceremony, guests sat at their tables leaving room for an isle to watch the happy couple exchange vows.

Before the newlyweds could make their way back down the aisle they encountered a checkmate! A foe who would require the groom to a duel in order to win back his new bride.

Arthur Tesh had won back his wife! We heard that Arthur and Lara are not just good at fencing but are well respected in their fencing community for their skills! Arthur and Lara both have a passion for fencing and found fun ways to incorporate the sport into their wedding day! The Tesh's relationship even began after meet at a fencing tournament in Raleigh, NC.

The reception began with dances before it was time for guests to enjoy dinner. A Taste of Italy catered bringing with them an array of items! There were antipasto platters and bread to go alongside six entree items for guest to choose from.

Toasts were offered after dinner by the best man and maid of honor. At the end of their toasts the maid of honor had a ceremonial toast for the bride and groom using one of her sabers to open a bottle of champagne!

After dinner was dessert! A three tier cake was decorated by planner, Linda Smith, with ribbon to match the theme and extra flowers from the bridal bouquet. Mr. & Mrs. Tesh kept the top tier to enjoy next year and offered guests the bottom two chocolate and vanilla layers.
