Natalie & Billy Simmons wed on May, 2nd 2015 on
The RiverRoom deck overlooking the Cape Fear River! They had a close friend officiate their ceremony out on the deck and it was such a sweet and heartfelt short ceremony with vows exchanged between the couple surrounded by their guests! The couple eloped last summer and decided to have a celebration with 90 of their friends and family at The RiverRoom!
Thyme Savor Catering provided a delicious dinner for all of the guests including an appetizer table with various meats and cheeses. For dinner, the guests dined on heavy appetizers including pulled pork sliders, crab stuffed mushrooms, tamarind steak satays, thai chicken satays, beef tip gorgonzola puff pastry and maple bacon wrapped shrimp! So so so yummy!
The room had a bright color scheme throughout using a combination of teal, coral and grey with simple sand and shell glass centerpieces. The teal linens with grey runners looked great with the room and the river background!
Chris Brehmer Photography was here capturing the gorgeous ceremony and the fun all night long. The awesome squid cake was made by
Imaginary Cakes. What an interesting and creative cake!
David with
DJ Professionals and Video was here and provided DJ services that had the crowd dancing all night long!
Etc. Party Rentals brought in all of the additional chairs, bistro tables, linens as well as glassware. The flowers on the centerpieces are their own flowers from
Castle Hayne Farms.
The Audio Visual People hung the elegant Edison Lights inside the room!
We were so glad to host your event, Natalie and Billy! Thank you for choosing The RiverRoom. We wish you the best in your new life together!
Gorgeous wedding! I just love the colors they used for the decoration of their wedding location venue. It is looking quite different from other weddings that I have attended. Really appreciable experiment!
