What a beautiful evening to be wed! Lauren and Brendan tied the knot on The RiverRoom deck, right by the gorgeous Cape Fear River on July 9, 2015. The ceremony was sweet and intimate with fifty of their closest family and friends present.
Celebrations continued afterwards in The RiverRoom with a reception filled with food, dancing, love and laughter. Burlap and rustic decor set the tone just right for this shabby-chic wedding; linens were provided by Etc. Party Rentals! The music was on point and fit this couple’s unique style perfectly thanks to David at DJ Professionals. Brendan and Lauren’s first dance was to one of our favorites: A Drop in the Ocean, by Ron Pope.
The delicious dinner consisted of chicken, roast beef, scalloped potatoes, shrimp alfredo, and more; catered by Middle of the Island. Cupcakes were provided by Coastal Cupcakes in place of a traditional wedding cake and they were as adorable as they were yummy!
After dinner, Lauren’s mom let us all have a peek into the newlywed’s lives with a precious slideshow full of photos and videos from their entire lives. It was a touching way to honor the new Mr. and Mrs.!
Dancing carried on after that and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time, making memories of Brendan and Lauren’s big day! Thank you both for allowing The RiverRoom to be a part of such a beautiful beginning. Best of luck & congrats!
