Erica and Pete's "Eat, Drink and Be Married" Reception

The rain held off on Friday evening, and it turned out to be beautiful weather for Pete and Erica’s reception! The couple tied the knot at the wonderful Airlie Gardens; full of wildlife, colorful flowers and the marvelous view of Bradley Creek. The newlywed couple, friends and family then headed downtown for a beautiful reception at The RiverRoom. The room was decorated in colors of navy and white, with navy tablecloths, paired with white table runners on every table provided by L & L Tent and Party Rentals. The decor consisted of painted wine bottles, that read, "Eat, Drink and Be Married". Each table had cork accents that held the guests' name tags. Blue bottles were placed on the table with the couple's name and wedding date as party favors. The room looked amazing, thanks to the bride's great design ideas!

DJ David from DJ Professionals and Video played music ranging from today’s hits to timeless classics. He introduced the newlyweds and their bridal party followed by kicking things off with the bride and groom’s first dance as a married couple. David did an amazing job catering to the couple's wants and needs.

Middle of the Island catered the reception with a delicious dinner. Imaginary Cakes provided a beautiful and yummy cake! The room glowed with the perfect mood lighting using Edison lights provided by The Audio Visual People. The couple had a framed sign that read "Notes of Love and Best Wishes for the Mr. and Mrs." and had a string with clothes pins for guests to write notes to the new couple. One read "Always kiss goodnight". It was a unique and personal way for guests to show love, instead of just using a guest book.

It was such a fun evening celebrating Erica and Pete's marriage, congrats you two! Thanks for letting us at The RiverRoom be a part of your big day, and we wish you all the best in your newlywed life!
