Robyn & Jason's November Wedding

Robyn and Jason celebrated their big day at The RiverRoom on a cloudy November afternoon, yet the couple's love for each other made the sun shine right through those clouds! Aaron Cramer from Friendly Baptist Church in Burgaw married our couple on our deck overlooking the Cape Fear River. Etc. Party Rentals Provided a lovely arbor and chandelier where underneath the bride and groom were married.

The flower arrangements for this wedding were magnificent: oranges, purples and some earth tone green flowers. Wendy from A Beautiful Event really outdid herself this time!

Robyn was our very first bride to use The RiverRoom's all-inclusive package, including the venue, Melissa as the coordinator, DJ, videography, rentals, food, flowers, cake, lighting and more! Robyn got to pick and choose her vendors and received great value with the package! With the All-Inclusive Bridal Package that the couple purchased, they got to enjoy DJ Professional's services and had their entire wedding videotaped by two videographers at Brick Street Cinema. They will receive 3 edited DVD copies to share with friends and to watch later on down the road with the Love Story Signature package! They enjoyed other benefits like bringing in their own bar. They served two signature drinks on top of a full liquor bar and beer. The RiverRoom was able to provide the bartender as part of the all-inclusive package too!

The colors of the evening were green and purple; Lanterns hung from the Edison Lights provided by The Audio Visual People. Centerpieces were scattered throughout the room with atop the green and purple linens. A Beautiful Event designed the various floral arrangements. Each place setting was fully set, finished with the bottle opener party favor.



After the ceremony, guests congregated inside The RiverRoom for cocktail hour while the bride and groom took pictures around Downtown Wilmington with 1 of 13 Photography.

Middle of the Island catered a delicious meal complete with shrimp and grits, Prime Rib, Pork Tenderloin, penne and rotelli pasta, Green beans, squash casserole and baked potato bar!

We can't forget to mention the cake! The Three Divas created a simple yet delicious masterpiece for the guests, incorporating the centerpiece's purple and orange flowers.

After dinner and lots of dancing, the bride and groom played a newlywed game!

Special thanks to Event Shuttle Service for taking all the wedding guests back to the family house in Burgaw. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to celebrate with Robyn and Jason on their special day! Congratulations!!
