The room was adorned with brown and hot pink linens provided by Etc. Party Rentals. Danielle of A Thyme Savor did all of the planning for this event, including arranging rentals, providing the food, bar and staff and even designed the flower centerpieces. The centerpieces atop the tables were simple roses and balloons completing the party look for the room! The Cake Lady brought a beautiful cake with a silver "50" ornament on top. The two-tiered cake was chocolate with raspberries!
DJ Sammy Figgs with DJ Professionals provided upbeat and energetic music throughout the night and got the guests up and dancing right after the birthday toast!

Happy 50th Jennifer!!! We wish you 50 more fabulous years! Thank you to all of those who attended Jennifer's party and traveled a long distance to be here! It was an unforgettable event!
Review from Michael about his wife's event:
"Melissa, first of all let me thank you and the entire RiverRoom staff for your efforts. As per the blog Jennifer was completely blown away!!! As she has stated over and over again this weekend “this has been the best birthday ever”! All of our guest had a fantastic time and were very impressed with the intimacy of the venue and the beautiful backdrop of the Cape Fear River. What I initially thought would be a negative (the Triathlon) turned into additional juice to amp up the spirit of the evening.
Thanks so much for your responsiveness and attention to details that made this come together. Rest assured that any future functions that we have here will be at The RiverRoom!!! We will do reviews as this was certainly a night to remember."
