Star and Zack's Deck Wedding and Reception

Zack and Star Williams got married this past Friday, October 25th at The RiverRoom! Their ceremony took place on our deck and the reception followed inside.

Penelope Morningstar married this wonderful couple at the center of the brick wall on our deck, which overlooks the Cape Fear River and the NC Battleship.

After the ceremony, guests filled The RiverRoom and enjoyed cocktail hour. The couple had Polaroid Camera's and funny props set up so that guests could snap pictures throughout the night to add to their guestbook!

The bride and groom had sealed Mason jar cups with straws to fill with their drink of choice to enjoy throughout the night. So cute! Centerpieces were also mason jars filled with some lovely white flower arrangements courtesy of Bella Florals. The cute table numbers were in the shape of a heart, made out of wood. Star's sister made the burlap silverware holders and the guests' key escort cards also dueled as a party favors!

After the Bride and Groom made their grand entrance with their fun and energetic bridal party, they had their first dance as Mr. and Mrs., dancing to "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri.

Toasts were made by Father of the Bride and groomsmen, and soon after it was time to eat! Bridge Tender provided a mouth-watering meal for guests: Chili, Chicken, Mac N' Cheese, BBQ, potatoes and so much more!

After the bellies were full, guests got out on the dance floor to celebrate! Thanks to DJ Professionals & Video, the guests were ready to get their groove on. Khalilah from AbeL - Custom Lounge & Specialty Rentals provided one of her pretty white couches with wooden side tables! Etc. Party Rentals provided the linens and these awesome hanging window frames for vinyl photos of the bride and groom!

There were cake and 3 different flavors of cupcake for the guests to enjoy as the night went on, provided by Kissable Cakes.

At the end of the night, guests gathered outside to send off the Bride and Groom with sparklers! Special thanks to Cassie Leigh Photography for capturing the love and excitement throughout the night. We enjoyed being able to celebrate this special day with Zack and Star!
