The Britt's Wedding Reception 11/11/12 ~ RSVP: The RiverRoom Blog

On a beautiful, sunny November afternoon, Keri Prybylo became Mrs. Jason Britt. Keri and Jason had a 1:00pm ceremony on November 11th at St. Therese Catholic Church in Wrightsville Beach, NC. Following the ceremony, guest were escorted to The RiverRoom for the reception via trolleys rented from Wilmington Trolley Company.

There were a number of things to keep the guest busy and occupied as we waited for the bridal party to arrive. There was a photo booth rented from DJ Professionals so each guest could take goofy pictures to leave for the bride and groom. They also asked each guest to stamp and sign one of their enlarged engagement photos, as well as a traditional guestbook. At the end of the night, we'll be doing a Chinese lantern send off but first, Keri and Jason ask that each guest leaves a sweet memory or message on the lanterns.

Once the bridal party arrive, they were introduced into the reception. They went right into their first dance as husband and wife to "History in the Making" by Darius Rucker. Then, Keri danced with her father to "Sweet Dreams" by Patsy Cline. Next, Jason danced with his mother to "A Song for Mama" by Boyz 2 Men.

The room looked absolutely gorgeous with lots of teal! The guest table linens were white with a sheer teal runner. Each table had either a floral arrangement or candle arrangement with hand-picked sea shells by the couple. The flowers were put together by Lisa Pennell Designs. Etc. Party Rentals provided all of the additional tables, chairs and linens. The Bride paid a lot of attention to each detail and made sure her beach-themed wedding was everything she dreamed it to be and MORE! Courtney from P3 Perfect Party Planning was the coordinator who made sure that everything went off with a bang. The deck was also rented for additional guest seating and a fun place for guest to chill outside.

Angie's of Chris' Restaurant provided the delicious food. They served heavy appetizers like crab dip, vegetable pasta, fruit and cheese trays and more. The cake was designed by a sweet couple out of Southport- Cakes by the Norwoods. Wilmington Wine provided the beer and wine, as well as bartended for the wedding. Keri and Jason's wedding photographers were Amy Allen and Amy Barker. They also hired a wedding videographer, Coastal Videography.

Towards the end of the reception, all of the guest went out on the waterfront deck to send off some good luck Chinese lanterns. We had such a good time lighting the lanterns off the deck and watching them float away into the night. Congratulations to Keri and Jason! We wish you all the best!
