Harold and Joanna's May Reception!

Joanna Seliga became Mrs. Harold Whitaker on a pretty Saturday afternoon on May 5th and continued the party with the reception here at The RiverRoom! The bride opted to use Rachel, the event planner from Bridal by the Sea. Rachel's girls were able to get into the room early and set up for the event. We always recommend hiring a wedding planner, especially when we have some of the very best in Wilmington. These girls made sure that the room looked fabulous!

The bride and groom provided their own cake and had tunes playing for their guests from a personal iPod and through speakers rented from DJ Professionals and Video to keep the mood going! The couple put a unique twist to their first dance. It began by playing "Let's Get it On" but then they changed it to a fun salsa tune to which the couple showed off their fancy moves! The dancing and partying did not stop once! The bride and groom did a great job of getting everyone to get in on the dancing fun on the dance floor. Delicious food was provided by Coastal Catering and guests enjoyed a buffet featuring BBQ, cornbread, cheesy pasta, shrimp & grits and salad! Joanna had a blue, orange and lime color scheme. In fact, the bridesmaids' necklaces matched perfectly with the colors and fit right in! Perfect color choices for the season and weather outside. The lovely flower arrangements were organized by Tildy Designs, which complemented the style and the couple so well. Love the choices, Joanna! Extra rentals were brought in by our friends at L&L Rentals to accommodate guests.
