May Rehearsal Dinner for Angie & Brad!

We are happy to be the host for the rehearsal dinner for Angie Weinheimer and Brad Raphael!  On this warm Friday evening, it's hard to ignore that summer is just picking up and what could be a more perfect location to kick off wedding events than right here on the river at The RiverRoom!?  Angie and Brad had about 50 guests join them for the evening with food provided by Middle of the Island.
The cake featured a two pictures of the bride and groom as babies which was a nice personal touch to the cake.  The cake was created by Apple Annies.  Linens and a couple of extra chairs and tables were provided by Etc. Party Rentals. Etc. Party Rentals is a new contender on the rental and event planning front here in Wilmington.  Etc. Party Rentals lives by their motto "where design meets service" and they accommodate by doing just that!  We were excited to get to work with them this evening and are happy to recommend their services to our brides.
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed the smooth sounds played from an iPod playlist to set the background mood for dinner.  Aqua and white decorations fit in well against the brick and dark aspects of The RiverRoom, while the addition of various shells and rocks fit perfectly for the beach wedding tomorrow. We wish you two the best of luck tomorrow and for the beginning of your lives together!! Thanks for sharing!

Our very own Ray Baca of Baca Photography spent the entire following day with Brad and Angie to capture all of their special moments on their wedding day. Here is a link their sneak peek album! Also, this is what Angie had to say about Ray....
"My husband and I decided from the very beginning that we wanted the best photographer in Wilmington to shoot our wedding. After looking at several photographer's images online I called Ray (Baca) to get pricing. When I got off the phone I didn't feel like I had just got the whole "typical salesman schmoozing". You could tell that he truly had a passion for what he does and a genuine concern for people. Not only would he call, email, and text me often to see how wedding plans were coming and to see if there was anything he could do to help, he also called to check on how my husband's grandmother was doing after I had told him that she had become ill and see how school and life was going for me. He knew that planning a wedding from hundreds of miles away was stressful in addition to dealing with everyday life. Come wedding day, he was nothing short of amazing! The images he has shown me so far are better than I could have ever imagined. He was kind, fun, professional, and made sure everyone felt at ease which shows in the photos. I could go on all day about Ray and his assistant Hillary who was also amazing on the wedding day. Ray also travels for weddings, so if you want the best there is out there Baca Photography is it!"
