"Headed down south to the land of the pines" - Matt and Rachel's Wedding Rehearsal

This evening, The RiverRoom hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner for Rachel Hensley and Matt Wells. The couple is getting married tomorrow but not before an amazing event at The RiverRoom on December 16th, 2011. Guests entered the room at 5:30 right in time to catch the last of the amazing sunset overlooking the Cape Fear River. Rachel created a photo slideshow for her guests to watch as they enjoyed appetizers and cocktails. The delicious food was provided by Pine Valley Market, flowers from Verzaal's, and rentals from Party Suppliers. Nancy Hearne baked the white and blue University of Kentucky grooms cake. The couple choose to use our surround sound system to play Pandora, with such favorites as Old Crow Medicine Show and Zac Brown Band.
The RiverRoom was decorated in gold linens with black and silver accent colors. The floral arrangements were very appropriate for the holiday season, using pine, green hydrangeas and wax flower buds. The table centerpieces was a combination of the floral arrangements and candle lanterns. This southern rehearsal dinner was a very good sign of an amazing wedding to come. Congratulations to Rachel and Matt! We are so happy for the two of you. We wish you an eternity of love and happiness!
