What better way to celebrate Veteran's Day than a veteran's themed wedding reception at The RiverRoom? Allison and Joseph married at First Baptist Church at 5:00 pm this evening. Following the ceremony, the couple and their guests headed down to The RiverRoom to enjoy a beautiful night on the Cape Fear River. Gone with the Wind played on our TV monitors to get guests in the mood for love. The centerpieces on the tables were floating candles with white and red beads. Middle of the Island was here for another excellent meal. The creamed corn may have just changed my life for the better! DJ Professionals and Video turned out great tunes all night thanks to DJ John. Allison and Joseph's first dance was to "Honeymoon Huckleberry". The father/daughter dance was performed by Allison's close family friend, Matt, playing "I Hope You Dance." Thank you to Hot Pink Cake Stand for provided their beautiful cake and Island Florals for the lovely flowers. Jackie with Baca Photography shot the event. Brickstreet Cinema did an amazing job with videography for the evening as well. Lastly, A Tent Event supplied navy and white linens and extra tables and chairs. The couple gave their guests red, white and blue candies as party favors and used biodegradable rice during their send off at the end of the night. We would like to thank Allison and Joseph for sharing their special night with us. It was a pleasure! To many, many, many years of love and happiness-Cheers!
