Back-to-Back Bridal Luncheon + Rehearsal Dinner for Laura & Chris!

On Thursday, November 6th, The RiverRoom hosted 2 events for the same bride and groom in one day!  In the morning, Laura had a bridal luncheon for her bridesmaid's with the rehearsal dinner later in the evening for an intimate group of 40.

To start the day off, Laura had 8 bridesmaids to The RiverRoom for her bridal luncheon the day before the wedding.  There were just 2 round tables set up with 4 chairs accompanying each.  The colors for this luncheon were chevron gray, white and turquoise with pops of pink. The tables were dressed with turquoise napkins & stunning floral arrangements from Fiore Fine Flowers.  ETC Party Rentals provided linens for both events, as well as the pewter vases pictured below.

The famous Sweet & Savory Cafe of Wilmington catered the luncheon with a buffet style brunch. This included some assorted muffins, breakfast pastries, chocolate stuff croissants and much more. The bar was converted into a mimosa bar with champagne, also provided by Sweet & Savory.

Later on that evening, the room was flipped for the next event.  Around 5:00pm,  the room was set up for a classic, romantic rehearsal dinner.  This included all 40 guests of the bridal party, friends and family members.  The room included 7 tables for the evening covered in white linens. We reused the beautiful flower arrangements from Fiore Fine Flowers with surrounding votives on each table - very pretty!  There were black napkins placed at every seat on the table.  Thanks to ETC Party Rentals again for making this look so romantic! We love the vintage window frames with pictures of the happy couple and their adorable children.

Middle of the Island provide catering for the black and white rehearsal dinner.  The couple had seating for all of their guests but there was no seating chart. There were servers and a bartender on deck from Middle of the Island. The dinner consisted of a fancy set up and steak!

The groom's cake was decorated by Imaginary Cakes.  This was cute because the cake represented that of a hockey player on the ice, but the player actually looked like the groom! To go along with the cake, Imaginary also provided tasty mini cupcakes.

The couple won a "story of us" videography film from The RiverRoom's June 2014 Fake Wedding from Brick Street Cinema so they used it during the big wedding weekend. The hanging Edison lights were rented from The Audio Visual People to continue with the romantic theme. Cool Breeze Photography was also around for the evening capturing as much of the rehearsal dinner as possible!

Thanks to Melissa Mendoza of Knot Too Shabby Events for coordinating the luncheon & rehearsal dinner. Melissa helped plan these two events back to back and making everything run so smoothly. We hope everyone had a wonderful time. Congrats Laura and Chris! Thanks for letting The RiverRoom host these 2 special events before your big day!
