The processional began and the viola played a melodious tune as the Bride and her father made their way down the aisle. Bernie McWilliams is a violinist who performs at many local wedding ceremonies! The flower girls-Kinsley and Wesley's daughters-were adorable. They truly are two peas in a pod! The ceremony was officiated by Kinsley's dear childhood friend, Adam!
Etc. Party Rentals added a special touch to the bistro tables by providing barstools for the guests. They also provided extra tables and chairs, linens and two cute kids' tables.
The reception followed soon after inside The RiverRoom. The color scheme of the night were neutrals- ivory, tan, lace, and burlap with some pops of teal! Burlap lined all of the tables as well as the centerpieces, which were mason jars filled with flower arrangements provided by Bloomer's Floral Designs.
Beer and wine was available at the bar and it was self serve. I loved this bar sign created by a handy family member! He made two ceremony signs; one pointing to the deck and towards The RiverRoom and the "pick a seat, not a side" sign. Another local Wilmington bride got lucky and was given the sign to use for her ceremony the next day once Kinsley and Wesley were finished with it. Sometimes there's just no need to keep all of your extra wedding decorations after the wedding - spread the love to other brides! Love it!
DJ Professionals brought out the country music and the guests danced the night away under elegant edison lights. We hung twice as many lights as usual and it sure did look beautiful! Kinsley and Wesley shared their first dance as husband and wife to "If I Didn't Have You" by Thompson Square. Kinsley also had a sweet dance with her father to Tracy Adkin's song, "Just Fishin'".The guest book was an adorable wooden and burlap book. We placed it on a glass table near the entrance way atop a burlap and lace runner. The card box fit the look too!
To end this wonderful night, guests sent off the bride and groom with sparklers!
