Locals from Wilmington, Jennifer Palmer and Kelly Rowe got married today! The ceremony was held at the
Grace United Methodist Church. Following the ceremony, the reception was held here at
The RiverRoom. Guests were shuttled from the Church to The RiverRoom by a rented van since they was plenty of free parking at the Church. Guests arrived for cocktail hour where they enjoyed beer, wine, and mixed cocktails from the bar where two friends were bar tending. The bride, groom, bridal party and their close family then arrived in a limo from
VIP Limo of Wilmington later.
The beautiful cake was provided by
Creative Cakes. Tammy Hodges did an amazing job with the unique cake, something we have definitely not seen before!
The room was adorned with horizon blue, white and splashes of yellow throughout. The yellow napkins and centerpieces really made the blue linens stand out. We alternated napkin styles on each table for a little something different!
Etc. Party Rental provided all of the linens for the room. We loved the cocktail tables with bar stools to compliment the round guests tables. We did seating for 84 guests at lower, round tables and seating for 24 with bistro tables.
Family friends came and set up a TV for behind the bar, for everyone to enjoy Saturday Night Football. These families were big sports fans!
The beautiful centerpieces were assembled by the bride herself. The centerpieces were simply sunflowers, carnations, and pieces of ferns. Jennifer and Kelly hired me (Melissa) as their day-of coordinator so I was here to set up everything up and make sure everything ran smoothly.
Guests enjoyed heavy appetizers provided by a family friend, Jimmy. Jimmy used to own a hit local deli so when Kelly and Jennifer started looking for caterers, they knew exactly who to call. Jimmy served everything from bacon wrapped scallops and pigs-in-a-blanket to chicken parmesan bites and salad.

Katheryn Batts captured moments throughout the night of the bride, groom and their guests.
Jennifer and Kelly had their first dance to "Here and Now" by Luther Vandeross. Following was the Father, Daughter dance where they danced to "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. Last but not least was the Mother, Son dance with "All to You" by DJ Keo playing in the background. Casey of
DJ Professionals did out outstanding job getting everyone on the dance floor all night. The soul train may have been the best dance session of the night. Take a look at the Instagram video here!
At the end of the evening, the Bride and Groom thanked everyone for coming and hugged everyone goodnight. Congratulations Kelly and Jennifer! We are so happy for the two of you and we can't wait to meet your new addition soon!
