Agostini Wedding Story - June 25, 2014 ~ RSVP: The RiverRoom Blog

On Wednesday, June 25th, 2014, Jessica O'Hara married Steven Agostini. Perhaps you're thinking a Wednesday wedding is weird but it actually makes a lot of sense for out of town guests. Most beach house rentals are Saturday-Saturday. If you want to have spend the week at the beach with your family, it's hard to have a Saturday wedding because you're either arriving or leaving that day. So, it doesn't really matter what day it is and all of us know everyone's rates are less expensive during the week.
So, here we were - on #WeddingWednesday, celebrating the love of Jessica and Steven. Love should be celebrated every day!

We were joined by 75 friends and family members on The RiverRoom deck. Han Hills officiated the ceremony with Ray Baca there to get some pretty amazing photos! The ceremony took place on the top part of the deck with green garden gates rented from Etc. Party Rentals as the backdrop.

Bloomer's Floral Design created the floral centerpieces using baby's breath gathered in mason jars for the reception inside The RiverRoom. The guest tables were dressed with white linens and charcoal gray napkins. They set up the room with 12 round tables of 6 and a sweetheart table for the bride and groom. There was seating for 74 guest with plenty of room left for dancing, the bar area and buffet area. Jessica's mom hand-made strawberry jam for each guests and it was cutely placed at each place setting for them to take home! Jessica & Steven are huge dog lovers and brought this love with them to the wedding.

DJ Professionals & Video did a wonderful job, as always, providing DJ/MC service for the Agostini wedding. Jessica & Steven had the first dance before dinner. They did the parent dances after dinner from Taste of Italy. DJ Professionals made sure that everything ran smoothly while providing upbeat and energetic DJ/MC service throughout the wedding day. Taste of Italy served everything from penne vodka and lasagna to eggplant parmesan. Taste of Italy only offers drop-off catering so we recommend hiring some awesome staff from someone like The Butler Did It! One of the couple's favorite beers is from the local Front Street Brewery so they had a keg of it, as well as wine, lemonade, tea and water. Clients love being able to bring in their own bar at The RiverRoom!

The cake cutting and toasts were after dinner. Hot Pink Cake Stand designed the naked cake and made the precious and tasty mini-cupcakes. Naked cakes are superior trendy right now! We love this one with fresh strawberries!

After we ate, it was time to open up the dance floor for everyone! We danced well into the evening and ended the night with a sparkler send off! This Wednesday Wedding was just as much fun (if not more) than any Saturday wedding! Congratulations Jessica & Steven!
