Jessica & Chad's Pinwheel Wedding Day in May!

What a gorgeous day for a deck wedding! Jessica and Chad exchanged vows on Sunday, May 25, 2014 on our outdoor deck overlooking the Cape Fear River. Jessica's brother-in-law played the acoustic guitar as the parents of the bride and groom, bridal party and Jessica all walked to the altar. This ceremony was set up with seating for 70 and guests sat on both sides of the Bride and Groom as they said "I Do!"

During cocktail hour the guests dined on food provided by Two Girls Grub while the bride and groom went out and took pictures. They also provided dinner following the cocktail hour. Dinner was delicious BBQ and various side dishes. Cupcakes were also from Two Girls Grub. The Butler Did It! was a huge help with the bartending and providing excellent service in cleanup.

Jennifer Mink, based out of Raleigh, was the chosen photographer for the night. She shot a beautiful bridal session and engagement session for this sweet couple that can be found on her website. Wilmington Trolley transported the guests from Fairfield Inn before and after the event. Having this service makes for reassurance that guests will get home safely! The bride arrived to the ceremony site in a vintage taxi cab from The British Taxi with her dad! We love this classy touch!

Edison lights were provided by The Audio Visual People. These are always a favorite addition to the room! Etc. Party Rentals provided the white linens and blue runners that aligned the tables. They also brought extra tables and chairs to have overall seating for 70 with two kid tables! Tables were assigned and guests we told where to seat by picking up a cute escort card on their way inside the reception from the ceremony.

David from DJ Professionals and Video introduced the family and bridal party after cocktail hour and Jessica and Chad went right into their first dance. Outside on the deck after the chairs were cleared away from the ceremony, cornhole boards were put out for the guests to play while hanging outside watching the sunset over the River! We spent the rest of the evening dancing and having fun with all of the guests. What a perfect evening! Thanks to Jess & Chad! We had a wonderful time getting to know you all!
