This peacock-themed wedding was a stylish affair of blues, greens and purples! Etc. Party Rentals provided the pretty peacock blue overlays atop crisp white linens. Etc. Party Rentals also designed the gorgeous tablescape, complete with real peacock feathers in the floral centerpieces! They used 8 round tables with 6 chairs at each. The dance floor was in the bar nook instead of the usual spot and the ceremony took place against one of the beige walls, adorned by an iron wall art.
After the ceremony and a brief "cocktail hour", DJ David of DJ Professionals & Video introduced the bridal party. Then, Melissa and Chris had their first dance to "Don't Want To Miss A Thing" by Aerosmith! Melissa shared a dance with her adorable father, "Stealing Cinderella" by Chuck Wicks. The third special dance was for each one's child, furthermore uniting the two families forever.
Middle of the Island provided a yummy dinner buffet with three meats, sides and salads! We enjoyed peacock cake and cupcakes from Apple Annie's Bake Shop here in Wilmington. DJ David also gave a pretty epic toast, quoting the legendary Dr.Seuss.
Then, we opened up the dance floor and dance the night away! A River Runs by Me was here to photograph the big day! The Audio Visual People provided the vintage hanging Edison lights, while AbeL - Custom Lounge & Party Rentals provided a pretty gold loveseat.
We had a great time dancing and enjoying the love shared between Melissa and Chris and their families! The party ended around 9:30pm! Congratulations to Melissa and Chris! We are so happy for you two! We wish you all an eternity of love and happiness!
