It was a beautiful day for a birthday party at The RiverRoom, and we were lucky to host a party for two! We celebrated Anna & Kenny, both turning 60 at this fun-filled event! The room looked spectacular; it was decorated with lots of black and white and a few pops of color. The lovely couple decorated the room themselves, with the help of their sons, daughters-in-law and grandkids!
As the guests were entering the party, we enjoyed a gorgeous sunset!
There was a sweet slideshow with all kinds of pictures from Anna & Kenny's lives. It was a nice touch to see these memories played out as we celebrated their birthdays!
Middle of the Island catered the party with a spread of delicious Southern dishes. Fried chicken, roasted potatoes and green beans were a few of the tasty menu items! There was also a beautiful and oh so yummy birthday cake for dessert! Kathryn was our bartender for the evening and she did an amazing job keeping the guests happy with their glasses full of beer and wine! Tea & soda were offered as well.
Casey from DJ Professionals got the party started with a music mix of swing, beach, new and classic pop. Later in the evening, he played some songs that you can't help but move to and got a crowd on the dance floor!
It was a fun-filled night here at The RiverRoom! We're so glad that Anna & Kenny chose to celebrate their birthdays with us! Here's to many more years of happiness & love!
