Mabe Got a Babe: Lauran and Landon Mabe's Wedding 4.23.16

Lauran and Landon Mabe were surrounded by friends and family on this beautiful spring day to exchange their vows. They were married on the deck with antique wood benches and baby's breath for a rustic southern feel!

Outside of the ceremony was a chalkboard that informed the guests of the parents of the bride and groom and the wedding party!

After the ceremony, guests were invited inside to enjoy cocktail hour while the bridal party went on a trolley ride and took pictures around historic downtown Wilmington. The chalkboard bar allowed guests to be informed about drink options and what the couples drinks were. Landon's drink was rum and coke and Lauran's drink was a Strawberry basil vodka drink!

The room was decorated with 14 round tables and a sweetheart table for the newlyweds! Each table was decorated with burlap linens and an ivory lace runner. A beautiful arrangement of flowers in a wooden box was the perfect touch to this rustic southern theme! The room was designed by Knot Too Shabby Events.

The front of the room was decorated with candles and linen covered mason jars, a cute and unique touch to the room.

At the end of the night, guests are invited to each take a jar of strawberry jam as a favor, which was made by the grandmother of the bride! What a cute and special touch to Lauran and Landon's big day.

Pictures of the bride and groom were uniquely placed around the RiverRoom. Some were placed hanging on the wall and others were placed in cute window frames! Below the window frames was the guest book, where guests signed pieces of jenga; a game that the bride and groom for years to come with memories!

Overall, this beautiful rustic theme with the neutral color scheme was the perfect combo for Lauran and Landon's big day!!
