Anni and Deborah's Winter Wonderland 12.18.15

Annie and Deborah transformed The RiverRoom into a Winter Wonderland for their late December wedding. The room was set up with rentals from ETC. Party Rentals and included all of the tables and chairs that come with The RiverRoom.

The couple started the night by inviting their guests to a cocktail hour prior to the ceremony. The chalkboard bar included the dinner, catered by A Thyme Savor Catering, and drink menus. The design done by Southern Bee Designs also included two of Anni and Deborah's favorite things, their fur babies Molly-Moo and Paytee-Pie!

As the 80 guests found their seats and waited for the ceremony to begin, the sun set over the arch window where their ceremony would take place. Anni and Deborah honored their late mothers with their wedding portraits, a beautiful flower arrangement and two candles which they lit during the ceremony.

The newlyweds waited a long time for this day to come, and their love illuminated the room. Their fun-loving and positive personalities reflected as they said their vows.

Following the ceremony, guests lined the buffet for dinner enjoying fried chicken, mashed potatoes, collards, beef enchiladas, and spanish rice. Dinner was a blend of Deb's southern heritage and Anni's heritage straight from the Texas/Mexico border.

Dessert was comprised of a variety of sweets including cupcakes, cookies and chocolates in addition to the Wedding cake. Just before dessert was served, the newlyweds gave a champagne toast to their guests thanking them for being the loving and supportive people they are.

The bar and dance floor were back in action for the guests and brides to finish off their night with music provided by DJ Wilmington. DJ Dave kept the dance floor full of energy with a mix of music including some of the brides' favorite songs.
