Mr. & Mrs. Montgomery got married out on the deck in front of a backdrop that was handmade by the groom! The backdrop was made out of lace curtains, PVC piping, and metal, cement filled buckets.
After the ceremony guests headed inside where they found their name card and table number printed on cards which were handmade by the bride.
Tables were decorated with white roses, baby's breath, and candles for the centerpieces and each place setting was comprised of a large paper cutout and fresh maple syrup labeled "Sappily Ever After" straight from the brides home state of Vermont.
During the reception and cocktail hour guests enjoyed drinks at the bar as well as taking pictures with larger than life sized cardboard cutouts of Naomi and Seth.
After eating dinner, catered by Middle Of The Island, the newlyweds shared a piece of cake. The three tier cake was topped with ceramic birds handmade by the bride and groom! The purple ombre cake offered guests three different flavors in addition to the carrot cake cupcakes made by Hot Pink Cake Stand.
Once everyone enjoyed dinner and dessert it was time to dance! The dance floor was full allnight long with happy guests who threw their hands up and shouted as well as little ones who really knew how to shake it off!
One dance, the anniversary dance, called all the married couples to the dance floor. What started as a packed dance floor full of married couples slowly became an open dance floor for the one couple who has been married the longest. This amazing husband and wife have been married for 40 years!! Their advice for a Naomi and Seth on a successful marriage was to never ever go to bed angry and if you think it is going to be 50/50 all the time you are wrong, sometimes one pulls 100 percent and other times the other pulls 100, it is about finding the balance and working things out. After a few more drinks and dancing it was time for the night to come to an end.
...and they lived sappily ever after!
