Jon & Diana's Beach Themed Wedding Reception

On Monday, March 23, 2015, Diana and Jonathan had a beautiful ceremony on the beach followed by a reception of about 85 people at The RiverRoom.  The ceremony almost got rained out but they were able to have it under a gazebo on the beach instead! It always works out I tell brides! The room was decorated in hues of gold with table runners and linens supplied by Etc Party Rentals.  The Audio Visual People provided the Edison lights hung across the room.

The decorations were all made by the couple, family and friends and included vases filled with sand, floating candles and shells and candles wrapped with starfish, all tying into the beach theme.  On each side of the floral arrangement at the guest tables were small mason jars filled with sea shells, water, and a candle floating at the top.  There were frames throughout the room with the couples pictures and quotes, as well as wooden blocks with love quotes.

A colorful banner was hung upon the wall with "love never fails" written in gold printed on designed sheets.  The centerpieces were made of flowers in vases with gold ribbons wrapped around them done by friends of the family.

The bar featured various bottles filled with water and gold letters spelling out "friends".  For cocktail hour they served cheese, hummus, pita chips, and chicken salad.  The main course consisted of dishes such as salad, rice and black beans, pork and parmesan chicken.

The cake and cupcakes were done by Tutto Dolce Cake Design and featured a cake topper with seahorses to convey the beach theme.  We were so happy to host Jon & Diana's wedding reception and we wish them all the best with their newlywed life! Congratulations you two!
