On Thursday, May 2, 2013, The RiverRoom hosted a retirement party for Matt White. Matt White spent the majority of his career as a SBI agent for North Carolina. We appreciate all of his hard work in keeping our streets safe and are happy to have his friends and coworkers here tonight!
Friends of Matt's brought in their own white linens and designed some beachy centerpieces with shells and candles. I loved the glittery shells!
Middle of the Island dropped off dinner for all to enjoy around 5:00pm. They served friend chicken, mac and cheese, caesar salad, bread rolls and more! Matt and his friends brought in their own beer and wine to enjoy and self-served it from the bar.
After dinner, we listened to a friend of Matt's as he gave a brief presentation about all of Matt's successes (and funny stories)! Congratulations on your retirement, Matt! We expect to see you on a golf course real soon! ;)
