On Sunday, May 26, 2013 we surprised Pete and Suzanne on their 30th wedding anniversary. Their three children organized this surprise party, inviting 60 of their closest friends and family members. Guest started to arrive around 6pm. Pete and Suzanne arrived at 6:30pm thinking they were coming to
The RiverRoom, one of Wilmington's newest restaurants! ;) They were soooo surprised! It was amazing to see the love they share still, 30 years later. They spent the evening hanging with friends and dancing to old tunes!
Middle of the Island dropped off the food right before 7:00pm.
Wilmington Wine provided beer and wine and the cake was from
Apple Annie's.
Etc. Party Rentals provided the teal table linens. One of their children, Jennifer, saw teal linens in the room in a recent blog post and changed her color scheme! I love the way teal looks in here against the exposed brick walls! A friend of the family, Tom Jenkins, offered to photograph the party. He is also a professional photographer in Georgia.
We partied until 10pm and ended the night with sparklers. We wish Pete and Suzanne many more years of love and happiness!
