Jen and Justin Jumping for Joy! ~ RSVP: The RiverRoom Blog

The moment we met Jen and Justin, we were hooked! Their positive energy and genuine spirits are undeniable!! This lovely couple truly is meant to be. The big day is finally here! Happy wedding day!

On April 20, 2013, Jen and Justin tied the knot at The Arboretum at Airlie Gardens at 4:00pm. Ray Baca of Baca Photography was on site to capture all of the beautiful moments of the ceremony. Following the ceremony, guest traveled downtown to The RiverRoom for the wedding reception around 5:00pm. Jen and Justin later arrived in style with the British Taxi.

Not only did they rent The RiverRoom but they also rented our waterfront deck for additional guest seating and a lovely spot for guest to enjoy a drink outside along the Cape Fear River.

The room looked so elegant with crisp, white hanging lanterns and light grey guest tables with wisteria purple table runners. They were topped off with fancy candles! Moxie Floral Design created the gorgeous flowers to add to the table arrangements.

They invited 120 guest so it was nice to use the indoor and outdoor space. They even left a cocktail area with some bistro tables near the bar with a food station for cocktail hour! Pine Valley Market catering this beautiful event! It was great to have Pine Valley Market back at The RiverRoom!

DJ Nick from DJ Professionals introduced the new Mr. and Mrs. around 6:00pm. Then, they shared their first dance to "Crazy Love" by Van Morrison. Jen danced with her father as Justin danced with his mother to "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. Everyone was invited to the dance floor for a group dance to "At Last" by Etta James.

After an amazing dinner from Pine Valley Market, guest enjoyed tasty desserts and a gorgeous wedding cake from Carolina Cakes and Confections!

As we danced the night away, time flew by! Before we knew it, it was time to send the lovely couple off in style. We all walked out onto the riverwalk to light Chinese lanterns and send good-luck wishes off into the night. Then, we topped it off with a sparkler send-off as Jen and Justin disappeared into the night on their short walk back to Hotel Tarrymore.

The whole day would not have been a success if it weren't for Braxton with Epic Events. He was the visionary around Jen and Justin's dream wedding. He was great to work with and we really enjoyed getting to know him and his team!
