Leaves were falling inside and out at The RiverRoom on Sunday, October 21, 2012, the day that Heather Dobbs became Mrs. David Wittington. Perfect fall weather, along with gorgeous fall colors of champagne, and burnt orange set the scene for one of the prettiest fall weddings yet! The small wedding of about 30 people took place at 5 o'clock on the outside riverfront deck.
A special member of the family, Moose, preceded Heather down the aisle carrying a sign saying, "Here comes the Bride!"
After the short ceremony, the wedding party and guests moved inside The RiverRoom, which was filled with handmade decorations by Heather, along with her family and friends. The beautiful centerpieces were floral arrangement by Bella Florals!
As guests entered, they had a chance to sign the guestbook, as well as view a slideshow of pictures of the happy couple.
Dinner was a delicious buffet catered by Middle of the Island, which included an assortment of salads, marinated chicken, pork tenderloin, and squash casserole... just to name a few options!
After dinner, guests enjoyed scrumptious cupcakes made by Sweet Creations.
Guests enjoyed music from David's prepared playlist featuring songs such as "Your Song" by Elton John and "Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton. Photography was provided by Dan Roberts. The evening turned out to be just as Heather & David wanted it to - a small, special, and relaxing celebration surrounded by family and friends.
Thank you Heather and David for sharing this special day with us!! We wish you an eternity of love and happiness!
