Amanda and Jeremiah's big day at The RiverRoom

On Friday, August 17, 2012, Amanda Hromdka became Mrs. Jeremiah Biehl. Amanda and Jeremiah are such a sweet couple and it was amazing to see how in love they are. Amanda and Jeremiah exchanged vows at Kenan Chapel at 5pm. They were surrounded by 80 of their closest friends and family. Then, everyone traveled over to The RiverRoom to get the party going at the wedding reception.

The room was decorated beautifully will small, white hanging lanterns and white linens with a charcoal overlay. The centerpieces were designed by Bella Florals. The flowers were a mix of hydrangeas with pink and white roses in a square vase. Amanda hand-painted a lot of the decorations, such as the bird house card box and Tree of Life guest book. These were great personal touches to the wedding reception.
Amanda and Jeremiah arrived to The RiverRoom with their wedding party around 6:30pm. They were introduced by Eric with DJ Professionals. Then, Amanda and Jeremiah had their first dance to "Forever" by Ben Harper. Amanda also danced with her father to "Sweet Pea" by Amos Lee. Her father had so much spunk and he definitely liked to dance! Jeremiah danced with his mother to "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynrd.
After the formal dances were done, everyone enjoyed a delicious buffet from Middle of the Island Catering. They served fried chicken tonight - one of my favorites! The cake was created by Kevin at Willy's Bakery.
Dave, the assistant operations manager at DJ Professionals, gladly poured drinks behind the bar all night. Amanda and Jeremiah were able to save lots of money by bringing in their own beer, wine, champagne and liquor.
Ray with Baca Photography was hired to capture all of the special moments in their big day. It's always so neat seeing a bride smile at Ray on her big day with a true, genuine smile because they really are friends now.
The dance party really got started after dinner. There were no dull moments on the dance floor! I wish you all could have seen Amanda's dad dancing to "Thriller". It was amazing! As the night started to wind down, Amanda and Jeremiah left in style with a sparkler send-off.
I was the on site coordinator for Amanda and Jeremiah's big day. This is a service we have started to offer brides and grooms who would like me to set up and break down for them the day of. All Amanda and Jeremiah had to do was drop off their decorations and the rest was up to me. I really enjoy doing their reception and getting to know this beautiful couple!
Congrats to Amanda and Jeremiah! We are so truly happy for the two of you and look forward to building onto the friendship that we already have!
