"I Do Cherish You": Shelley and Michael's Wedding Day! June 2012

As 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 16 rolled around, friends and family were seated out on the deck of The RiverRoom to watch Michael & Shelley become Mr. & Mrs. Mack!  The weather was perfect as 90 guests entered to take their seats, along with fans graciously provided by the Bride & Groom to keep cool in the sun.  As Shelley joined Michael at the end of the aisle you could tell that he was simply awe-struck by his future wife.  They also assembled a Unity Cross in front of their guests adding a very sentimental moment.  The Bride's brother-in-law, Brian, married the couple in front of all their guests, adding his own personal touch to the ceremony and making it all the more special.
As the ceremony wrapped up, the guests were encouraged to get out of the heat and to grab a few refreshments while AnnieVai Photography captured a few special moments with the Wedding Party.  As guests entered, The RiverRoom was transformed into Shelley & Michael's Reception with an eggplant and silver theme, using paper lanterns, candles, and gorgeous floral arrangements from Harris Teeter.  The matching linens and additional sitting was provided by local L&L Tent and Party Rentals!
Everyone was able to quench their thirst with a bar stocked full of varieties of beer, wine, sodas, and of course water, compliments of the Bride & Groom!
Angie's of Chris' Restaurant and Catering displayed a vast amounts of fruits, veggies, sandwiches, pastas, and crab dip to keep the guests coming back for seconds and thirds!
After the couple finished taking pictures, Jeremy from DJ Professionals introduced the Wedding Party and for the first time ever, Mr & Mrs. Michael Mack!  The couple then took some time to sit and eat a meal together at their sweetheart table.  After the food was cleared the couple enjoyed their first dance together to "I Do Cherish You" by Mark Willis.  The song then faded into Rascal Flatts' "My Wish" as Shelley was joined by her Step-father, and Michael by his mother.  After the dances concluded it was time to break out the bubbly, toast to the happy couple, and enjoy the beautiful cake created by Creative Cakes!
Jeremy from DJ Professionals really cranked up the party-mode and guests hit the dance floor to continue to celebrate Michael and Shelley, until they decided to hit the streets of downtown to show all of Wilmington how to party!  Congratulations to Shelley and Michael Mack on your marriage and we wish you never ending joy in your lives.  Thank you for bringing the party to us!
