Jenna and Charles' Deck Wedding and Reception

Sunday Funday and what fun it was! Jenna Blackburn became Mrs. Charles Hicks! Congratulations!! Jenna and Charles exchanged vows on our waterfront deck at 5:00pm today, Sunday, May 20, 2012. Tropical Alberto did not show its colors and the rain held off for the whole day! The deck was decorated beautifully with a unique arbor made of burlap and aisle floral buckets. The room looked just as beautiful with light blue linens. The waterfall effect lights were aqua and looked great against the brick walls! The centerpieces were thin vases with beach sand and a votive candles. With about 100 guests, Jenna opted for a cocktail style reception with limited seating for 50. Since The RiverRoom already provides seating for 50, they did not have to rent additional tables or chairs...just the linens from Party Suppliers.

Julia's Florist provided some of the flowers and Jenna's aunts were big helpers in putting the rest of the arrangements together. A friend homemade the cupcakes for dessert and they chose a friend for the photographer and videographer as well. Jeremy with DJ Professionals provided DJ/MC service for the evening. The couple and their friends and family danced all night until it was time to go home.

Islands Fresh Mex Grill was the choice caterer for the evening. They put out a delicious taco bar! I recommend the queso too!

A friend of Jenna's handmade cupcakes for all of the guests. The wooden cupcake stand was one of the most beautiful dessert stands I've ever seen. It was so unique.
