Dawn and Allen's big day at The RiverRoom!

It's Saturday, May 19, 2012 and Dawn and Allen Tyndall are at The RiverRoom celebrating their marriage. The lovely couple was married on Wrightsville Beach at 4:30pm today. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a waterfront cocktail hour on our private deck with sounds of a classic violinist. We got right into the reception with bridal introductions and first dances. Dawn and Allen's first dance was "Us Against the World" by Coldplay.

After a glorious dinner buffet from Middle of the Island Catering, guests enjoyed the cake made by Nicki's Cakes. Dawn and Allen served a selection of their favorite beers, white wine varietals and a signature cocktail - Pomegranate Mojito! Yum!

Dawn and Allen's decoration choices were right on! With soft pinks and coral accents on the ivory linens, the floral centerpieces really popped! Thanks to Wendy with A Beautiful Event for creating the beautiful centerpieces and helping the happy couple with day of coordination. Wendy and her gals helped set the room up and made it a lot easier for the bride to have a stress free wedding day. 

The party favors were honey jars neatly wrapped in a starfish giftbox. They also supplied cigars for guests to relax and enjoy on The RiverRoom deck.

DJ Doug with DJ Professionals was here to help get the dance party going. Eric Boneske was the photographer. Dawn and Allen rented out 30 spaces of the Icehouse Lot through Park Rite Wilmington to give their guests a place to park without the hassle of driving around looking for a spot. L&L Tent and Party Rental provided extra tables, linen and chiavari chairs with ivory cushions. I loved the way these chairs looked in here! 

As the night came to a close, the couple danced their last dance and ran off into a row of sparklers into an old Rolls Royce from Azalea Limo. We'd like to congratulate Dawn and Allen! We are so happy for the two of you! Best wishes!
