We are kicking off the weekend with the rehearsal dinner for Haleigh Beyer & William Hughes on Friday, April 28, 2012! Guests arrived this lovely evening at The RiverRoom at 6:30. The night began with the cocktail hour from 6:30-7:30 and guests could munch on some delicious hors d'oeuvres from Bon Appetit with options such as prosciutto wrapped asparagus to spinach and artichoke dip! The night continued on with a delicious dinner buffet and drinks as well. Guests enjoyed tunes from a playlist on the couples iPod. Decorations included candles and teal vases with flowers purchased through Moxie Floral Design Studio but put together by Haleigh's cousin from NY, where she is a designer.
The cake was cut and enjoyed after a toast. The cake was shaped after a Tennessee Vols helmet by Imaginary Cakes with Cindy. The helmet looked so real that it seemed like a prop more than a cake but it sure did taste like a cake! The teal napkins and vases also looked lovely against the crisp white linens. Thank you to Party Suppliers for providing a 5 ft table for the head table and a few extra chairs.
Billy's sister created a very sweet photo montage of Haleigh and Billy played throughout the room on our 4 televisions. After dinner, guests enjoyed the slideshow presentation with special music too.
