March Madness Love: Matt and Ashley

Today, Friday, March 9, 2012, Ashley Horrell became Mrs. Matthew Powell at 5:00pm at The Church of Good Shepherd in Downtown Wilmington. Shortly after the ceremony, guests arrived at The RiverRoom for the wedding reception. The riverside deck was rented for the reception so guest could have a private outdoor space! The rain held out long enough for guests to enjoy being outside. The evening started off with lots of smiles as everyone greeting the newly married couple for the first time. Matt and Ashley's first dance was to "Marry Me" by Train. After dinner, Ashley danced with her father to "I Loved Her First" by Heartland and Matt danced with his mother to "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts. 

     

The room looked very chic with black, white and pink colors. White hanging lanterns hung from the tall beams, provided by L&L Tent and Party Rentals. The cake was home-made by a close family member and Matt and Ashley made the centerpieces. Middle of the Island Catering was here once again, serving up a delicious dinner! AnnieVai was the photographer, Verzaal's Florist & Events was the florist, and Wilmington Wine brought the beer/wine and bar-tending for the evening.

Of course, thank you to DJ Professionals & Video for spinning the dance tunes all night. The couple danced the night away with ninety of their closest friends and family. To wrap up this amazing night, this beautiful couple ran off into the night through a row of sparklers.
