The Verlangereiri's Tropical Reception in November!

Heather & Mark had their reception at The RiverRoom on Friday, November 14, 2014. Although the temperatures were dropping outside, they chose a tropical, beach theme for the reception with aqua and tan colors. Their marriage ceremony was actually held two months prior to their reception on Carolina Beach when it was a bit warmer out and more appropriate for a beach ceremony! During the reception, Heather and Mark shared their entire ceremony video with the guests. They rented a projector and projector screen through The Audio Visual People to showcase the special video during dinner. The reception started out with a short cocktail hour, followed by dinner catered by Middle of the Island with an Italian  dinner serving lasagna, chicken alfredo, green beans, and three different salads, finished with chocolate pie. Whole Foods made the beach themed 3-tiered cake for the reception.

The shell centerpieces, table numbers and beach decor were all rented through Simply Shell Rentals. Simply Shells also took all of the photos seen in the blog today! Simply Shells designed so many different types of shell centerpieces! This was the first time Simply Shells has been to The RiverRoom and we loved having them at our venue! The Edison lights were from The Audio Visual People. Party Suppliers brought the aqua linens as well as the wine glasses and extra chairs. A RiverRoom bartender, Kathryn, served various beer and wine to the guests throughout the night. Each guests was given a beachy blue mason jar to drink out of for the night and take home at the end!

DJ Sammy with DJ Professionals was the DJ for the night playing music for all ages and keeping the crowd dancing all night long! Heather & Mark's first dance was "Everything I Do, I Do It For You" by Bryan Adams. We hope Heather and Mark an amazing future together as husband and wife! Best Wishes from The RiverRoom!
