The reception began around 5:00pm! ETC. Party Rentals provided the linens, chinaware and a couple extra tables. The room looked simple yet elegant. The Bride & Groom chose classic wedding colors - navy and white. The centerpieces were done by the Bride with flowers from a local wholesaler. Each place setting had a river rock at the head with a hand-painted gold heart. This is an old Irish tradition!
Knot Too Shabby Events was hired to coordinate the big day, in charge of everything from set up and break down to assuring that everything ran smoothly! Melissa did a great job working with Mary & Paul's vision and bringing everything to life!
DJ Professionals & Video provided reception music & MC service. DJ Doug did a wonderful job from the introductions to the last dance! Paul & Mary had their first dance as husband and wife to "Tupelo Honey" by Van Morrison! The Audio Visual People hung the pretty Edison lights. Middle of the Island catered the dinner and provided cheese and fruit for cocktail hour. Wilmington Wine provided the beer and wine while Middle of the Island staffed the servers and bartender. The meal wasn't complete without TWO cakes from Hot Pink Cake Stand! The Bride almost cried when she saw the cake! I think it was prettier and tastier than she could even imagine!
