Sandra & Trey Summertime Love To Last ~ RSVP: The RiverRoom Blog

On Saturday, June 21, 2014, Sandra married Trey Folcher! Sandra and Trey had their beautiful wedding ceremony on the deck overlooking the Cape Fear River at The RiverRoom. Their children were a crucial part of the ceremony, all being a part of the bridal party in some way. I loved the set up on the deck for the ceremony too. The couple stood in the middle of the deck with all of their guests surrounding them! Rob Lapp, a friend of the family, officiated the ceremony for this sweet couple, while Etc. Party Rentals provided additional ceremony chairs to offer seating for all 60 of the guests.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed appetizers from Middle of the Island Catering and a full bar supplied by the Bride and Groom. The room looked gorgeous with white linens, burlap runners and teal napkins atop the guest tables thanks to the coordinator, Knot Too Shabby Events! We used burlap runners on the tables, along with burlap bows on the ceremony chairs. We even had a table for the kids in the back of the room. The kids were entertained with fun props and great tunes from DJ Professionals and Video as DJ Dave provided upbeat and energetic DJ/MC service throughout the entire day!

Creative Cake Design by Tammy Hodge provided a stunning yet delicious wedding cake! Sandra design her own centerpieces with white hydrangeas from a local flower wholesaler, Castle Hayne Farms. She had them ready to go when she dropped off all of her decor the day of the wedding and Knot Too Shabby Events set it up from there. The Audio Visual People hung the classic Edison lights to bring a romantic, rustic feel to this wedding day! Sandra's friend, Joelle Newman, shot photos for the big day!

After Sandra & Trey had their first dance "Kiss Me" by Ed Sheeran. Trey had a special dance dedicated to his mother too! Trey's mom was a flapper in the original "Great Gatsby" movie so DJ Dave mixed a medley with some classic American tunes for their song. It was pretty amazing if I do say so myself! We continued dancing well into the night but the party had to come to an end around 10:00pm. Sandra & Trey did a send off to end the night in style! Congratulations Sandra & Trey!
