Cassie & Phillips BIG Wedding Day at The RiverRoom

On Saturday, June 28, 2014, The RiverRoom had the pleasure of hosting Cassie & Phillip's wedding. Pastor Marshall Ferigo officiated this short and sweet wedding ceremony. Cassie & Phillip, aka PJ, had both the ceremony and wedding reception inside The RiverRoom for 100 guests. We have had many reception-style ceremonies inside but not one with a full flip until this day! The ceremony was inside The RiverRoom with seating for 100, then guests were scheduled to go out on the deck for cocktail hour so we can flip the room and get it ready for the reception. With some unexpected rain, cocktail hour was inside too but this didn't stop us from flipping the room and getting it ready for a great celebration!
(Event Tip: We suggest renting a tent for the deck for wedding flips like this in the future!)

Middle of the Island was hired as the caterer to provide delicious food and forever amazing service. They had the bar stocked with beer and wine and took advantage of our chalkboard front. DJ Professionals & Video provided excellent DJ/MC service and the pretty Edison lights were rented from The Audio Visual People.

A family friend made the cake and cupcakes! The bride did the floral centerpieces herself! Great job Cassie! She also hand-painted mason jars for each guests to drink out of during the wedding and they could take them home to remember the big day! Thanks to Etc. Party Rentals for providing extra tables, chairs and linens. We had a total of 16 rounds and broke down 4 of them after dinner to open up the dance floor!

We kicked off the dancing with the first dance to "Unforgettable" by Frank Sinatra. Then, the bride surprised us all with a super fun and upbeat father/daughter dance. They requested a medley of a couple different songs and Cassie & her dad definitely rocked it out. He even busted out an American flag bandanna! The dance party didn't stop after this! Michael Escobar Photography was here and he got some amazing photos of the married couple! Congratulations Cassie & PJ! We had a blast celebrating your big day with you!
