After the ceremony, guests came inside while a few of Carrie’s spunky family members laid out the homecooked, homestyle food that they prepared for days for the guests!
We had Doug from DJ Professionals as the awesome DJ for the
event. After he announced the bridal party and the new Mr. & Mrs. Sartin,
the newlyweds had their first dance to "Heaven" by Jason Aldean. Following the
first dance was the Father-Daughter dance to "I Loved Her First" by Heartland and
the Mother-Son dance to "Twenty Years Late" by Aaron Lines.
As everyone was enjoying the food, music, each other’s
company and the view, they sipped on beer and soda provided by the couple
themselves. They chose to bring in 2 kegs and have a self-serve bar for the
guests. They provided koozies as wedding
favors that could be used that night! What a cool idea!
Around 8 o’clock, they stopped dancing to play the “Newlywed Game.” If you haven’t heard of it or seen the pictures from our Wedding Social, this game entails the bride and groom sit back to back and give each other one of their shoes. As the DJ asks questions about their habits and behaviors, they raise the shoe of the person who they think it most applies to! It was a great way to include the guests in something fun and spice up the reception! After watching the two lovebirds, it was clear that they are meant to be!
