Wilson Wedding at The RiverRoom

On Friday, November 2, 2012, The RiverRoom hosted the wedding for Ariella and Joseph. At 4:30pm, Ariella Osis became Mrs. Joseph Wilson on The RiverRoom's waterfront deck. The deck was decorated beautifully with lots of white tulle and red roses. The mother of the bride thought of every little detail in the decorating. Ariel and Joe invited their closest friends and family so we had a very intimate guest count of about 40 people.  Penelope Morningstar was the officiant for the wedding and did an amazing job, as always. Maura Kropke played the violin for the ceremony music.

The room was just as beautiful with lots more red roses with a classic black and white theme. The linens were rented from Etc. Party Rentals. Each table had a tall vase centerpiece will gray rocks and red roses. Instead of a traditional guestbook, the lovely couple had guest sign a large framed picture. This will be a great addition to their new home.

The delicious dinner buffet was provided by Middle of the Island Catering. Middle of the Island first served a variety of appetizers during cocktail hour, such as stuffed mushrooms, marinated chicken bites, fruit and cheese. Then, for dinner, they served a feast of pork tenderloin, fried shrimp, flank steak, mac & cheese, baked potato bar, green beans, squash casserole, pasta alfredo and a couple different salads! They also served mini cheesecakes and chocolate Hershey's cake.

In addition to all that food, guest enjoyed a delicious cake from Beatty Cakes!

Doug with DJ Professionals provided the DJ and MC service for the evening. Joe and Ariel had their first dance to "I Could Not Ask for More" by Edwin McCain. Then, Joe dance with his mother to "I Hope You Dance" by Leanne Womack. DJ Professionals also provided a photo booth. This is always a fun addition to any party. Plus, the pictures print out immediately!
