Abi and Tony tie the November knot!

On a chilly Saturday in November, Abigail Peters became Mrs. Tony Arce. Abigail looked absolutely stunning as she arrived via horse carriage to The RiverRoom's waterfront deck for her 3:00pm wedding ceremony. The ceremony was short and sweet. The lovely arbor was hand-made by the groom himself and the groomsmen spent the morning decorating it! The deck was set with seating for 40.

Following the ceremony, guest entered The RiverRoom for the reception. Cocktail hour from was 3:30pm-4:30pm. Middle of the Island provided the food tonight. They served mini-meatballs during cocktail hour, along with a spread of fruits and cheeses. For dinner, guest enjoyed fried drumsticks, pasta alfredo, crab drip, bacon wrapped scallops, stuffed mushrooms and more. I loved how they took advantage of decorating the wall in the catering nook too!
There were about 50 guest at tonight's wedding so there was plenty of space in the room for mingling and socializing. The couple rented a farmtable from Rent-A-Tent to use as their headtable. They also rented chiavari chairs for the reception guest tables. They used The RiverRoom's white resin chairs on the deck for the ceremony. The room really popped with the wooden chiavari chairs and light linens. The colors were peach and pinks.

For guest favors, they gave away camo coozies - always a great choice! They also created two different slideshows to display on our televisions. The Icehouse Lot was rented through Park Rite Wilmington for guest parking. Park Rite will rent out the adjacent parking lot for the day.

Nick with DJ Professionals provided all of the tunes tonight. They requested old school rap and country. It was a lot of fun hearing some of those songs I haven't heard in a while, like "Still Fly" by Big Thymers, which they played as the bridal party was introduced. For their first dance, they played "Cowboys and Angels" by Dustin Lynch. Then, Abi danced with her father to "Baby Girl" by Sugarland. Tony also danced with his mother to "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Eric Boneske was the photographer. He also provided a photo booth so guest had a lot of fun using props and taking silly pictures. Eric also took their engagement photos so he created an album with the best pictures for them to have guest sign.

The mother of the groom created an assortment of desserts for all to enjoy. She did a great job. She made 6 different fall-themed cheesecakes that tasted even better than they looked!

None of this would have been possible without their amazing wedding planner, Brittany at Orchid Island Events. Brittany not only planned the entire day, but she also designed the beautiful floral centerpieces  It was sooo great knowing that Brittany had every single detail thought out and planned. She is such a joy to work with! Any bride is lucky to work with Brittany!
Congratulations Abigail and Tony! We had a blast hosting your big day and we wish you both an eternity of love and happiness!
