Birds of a Feather Flock Together: Mrs. & Mrs. Anctil 9.10.15

Kelley and Anna Anctil tied the knot on September 10, 2015 with their red and blue theme present in both the ceremony and reception. The Cardinal and Blue Jay respectively represent Anna and Kelly so using a red and blue theme was very fitting for the newlyweds!

The ceremony was held outside on the deck with the brides, officiant, and witnesses in the middle. Family and friends were seated on both the upper and lower levels in semi-circles. The red and blue was incorporated in the ceremony when Anna and Kelly literally tired the knot. The brides braided together three strands: one red, one blue, and one purple. The Cardinal red and Blue Jay Blue was also used in the wedding rings, Anna's ring had a red stone in the middle and Kelley's ring had a blue stone in the middle. Even the bouquets were red and blue!

Following the ceremony guests headed inside where they could sign the guestbook. The guestbook was a print of a tree with room for guests names to be written on a leaf. The next thing that guests saw was the red and blue cake which included a hand painted tree and Blue Jay/Cardinal cake topper make out of modeling chocolate.

Roast beef, mashed potatoes, corn, macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, peach cobbler were just some of the dishes offered for dinner. For dessert a candy bar was set up so that guests could satisfy their sweet tooth with red and blue sweets of their choosing. small boxes were set out so that guests could take some candy as well as some cake home to enjoy later. After dinner and dessert guests danced the night away until it was time for the Anctil's sendoff.

Congratulations Mrs. & Mrs. Anctil!!
