Tonight, October 2, 2011, the RiverRoom is hosting a wedding reception for McKlyne and Chris Jenkins. The Jenkins had their wedding ceremony at Shell Island Resort on the beach at 6pm this evening. After have a beautiful ceremony on the beach, the couple and their guests headed over to the RiverRoom to enjoy a candlelit night filled with great food, music and dancing. The room was decorated in teal and gray with seashells on every corner. Teal lanterns hung from the ceiling to top it all off. The couple had their first dance to Holding Back the Years by Simply Red. Then, the father of the bride danced with the new bride, followed by a dance for the groom and his mother. The groom surprised her by selecting a song she and her husband first danced to at their own wedding. It was a very sweet moment!A special thanks also goes out to DJ Rock for provided great tunes all night.
Now, the bride, groom and their guests are getting ready to enjoy a delicious dinner provided by Middle of the Island.Congratulations to McKlyne and Chris. We wish you many, many years of love and happiness!
